Playground Geniuses

~Overheard at the park

“Of all my friends, I’m the smart one, they all know it too”

-Thats why I’m in the middle of the parking lot saving your one year old from walking into a minivan.

“My kids will be attending Challenger School, because they instill leadership qualities in the children”

-That’s why my son is over there telling your ward of offspring that covering the slides with bark is wrong and they need to go up the stairs and down the slide. Then my son walks over to another boy to have a chat with him about throwing bark at a little girl and the boy runs off  out of sight so my son tells the Mom she better get her boy back, he’s behind a water tower. The mom turns to my son and asks him “What did you do to him?”  He say’s “Nothing, he wasn’t following the rules.” I just love hearing a four year old acting wiser than an adult!
